Carmelo Anthony, Jimmy Butler, Paul George to the Cavs?

As the Cavaliers just lost game 5 of the NBA finals yesterday, who do you think they should pick up this offseason? Carmelo Anthony will give you the 1 on 1 when LeBron and Kyrie sit but will his defense be a liability like Kevin Love? Jimmy Butler in my personal opinion is the best fit, Jimmy is a Two-way player. He brings energy to the floor, plays his heart out and can still give your team good scoring. Butler guarding Kevin Durant would make it pretty interesting while you have lebron on draymond and kyrie on curry. With Paul George you get a player who can score at will, has a perfect 1 on 1 game that the cavaliers need but time after time you see him outmatched against better opponents. Will he be consistent on the defensive end as well? Let us know below!

Lets not forget that Dan Gilbert paid the most money in Luxury taxes the last 2 years. He would be adding close to $60 million dollars in payroll. They would most certainly have to dump Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson. Bring on some expiring contracts and cut them. Korver, Jr Smith all likely gone.

Zzzzzz...... c'mon now, let's get serious here. It's not like the Cavs didn't have a solid squad! The problem they had was the same problem every team had that faced the Warriors..... SPACING!

Yes, you heard that right... SPACING SPACING SPACING.

The Warriors have the ability to make you defend 10 feet beyond the 3 point line or else they're dropping 3 bombs and making it rain all day.

Because of this spacing, I don't care if you're Michael Jordan, Larry Bird and Magic Johnson all wrapped into one supreme basketball being - you are NOT defending Durant off the dribble with that long stride and no help defense.

And why can't you have help defense? SPACING! Too many accurate shooters...

Besides, as far as free agency, the upside of Gordon Hayward is better than Paul George.

The man who can guard Durant!
