The poll indicated 73% of respondents support diversions to rebuild coastal land, up from 68% in 2021. When further information was provided, the share increased to 80%.
Interesting article about what people think about fresh water diversions in South Louisiana now that two major ones are planned in the near future. I know that I'm kind of a nature lover, but how could anyone not support restoring the wetlands of Louisiana and all the nature that goes with it? Anyway, it's good to see that people care, hopefully it will lead to more conservation in the future.
