Unreal Sea Creatures

Here are some of the weirdest creatures that inhabit the sea. Some might look like they are from another planet.

Frilled Shark


This creature lives in the deep sea at about 5,000 feet below the sea. It is considered a living fossil because it shares some traits that its ancestors living in the time of the dinosaurs had.

Blobfish


The blobfish lives in the waters off the coast of Australia, Tasmania, and New Zealand. The fish has a gelatinous body and mainly just drifts at a depth of 2,000 feet waiting for its prey.

This sea creature looks more like a jellyfish but it is actually a sea cucumber that can be found in the Celebes Sea.
