Alternate Picking on two adjacent strings

Steemians friends welcome back on the second practical appointment! In the last lesson we saw exercises to get familiar with the instrument and the keyboard. Today we develop them differently to increase the feeling on the neck and improve the control of the alternate picking.

In the diagram below, on the first tab we start with the I fret with the index finger and we reach the XII fret always with the index finger following the sequence as indicated.
Arrived at the 12th fret with the first finger on the first string, we start with the fourth finger (little finger) from the XV fret to return to the I.

The last exercise takes up the technical scheme of the previous two but this time we will play only with three fingers instead of four.

It is always important not to perform them quickly but rather by controlling the alternate picking and cleaning of the sound.
We will start by playing in quarters, then one note each beat, then in eighths, two notes each beat.

I advise you not to exceed 80 bpm in metronome.

Pennata alternata su due corde adiacenti

Amici Steemians ben ritrovati al secondo appuntamento pratico! Nella scorsa lezione abbiamo visto degli esercizi per prendere confidenza con lo strumento e la tastiera. Oggi li sviluppiamo diversamente per aumentare il feeling sul manico e migliorare il controllo della pennata alternata.

Nello schema qui sotto, sul primo tab partiamo dal I tasto col dito indice ed arriviamo al XII tasto sempre col dito indice seguendo la successione come indicato.
Arrivati al XII tasto con il primo dito sulla prima corda, partiamo con il quarto dito (mignolo) dal XV tasto per ritornare al I.

L'ultimo esercizio riprende lo schema tecnico dei due precedenti ma stavolta suoneremo solo con tre dita anziché quattro.

E' come sempre importante non eseguirli velocemente ma piuttosto controllando la pennata alternata e la pulizia del suono.
Partiremo suonando in quarti, quindi una nota ogni battito, poi in ottavi, due note ogni battito.

Consiglio di non superare gli 80 bpm a metronomo.
