very cool! this is a fantastic way to get unforked after those few difficult days on steem. i am thankful to @indigoocean for clueing me into mene and i'm happy to see your contest. i just found out about mene today and literally just signed up. after indigo told me about it today, i went researching because that's how i am (before I hop into anything, i do my due diligence.)

i found myself very interested in mene for a variety of reasons. i'll share some below.

I love Mene 24k because it harkens to a time when humans used raw materials as valuables, a time of pure and direct living and of wearing art that also carries pure value. I love that Mene is the ancient Aramaic word for money and that this is gold in its pure form, hence it's a direct form of wealth, one that adds beauty to ones life while also appreciating in value. I also love that Pablo Picasso's granddaughter, Diana Widmaier Picasso, was one of the cofounders and that she was hesitant to put her name on the many things people wanted her to be a part of (because they were too ephemeral), but that she thought Mene would stand the test of time!!! I am drawn to quality items that are attractive and timeless- not fads or kitsch- and I think Mene fulfills this! I am looking forward to adding some Mene to my collection!

I think @birdsinparadise, @riverflows, and @cecicastor will be intrigued and interested in Mene! :)
