Previously, I've written "The Art of the Meme War: Trolling as a Form of Meditation." I've now returned with this new Ode to Trolls after over a year of bizarre life experiences and philosophical readings. Enjoy!
The trolling that can be defined is not the true trolling.
If you meet the Buddha, troll him.
Drop ashes on the Buddha?
Kill the Buddha?
Worship the Buddha?
Regardless, the Buddha has already trolled you.
To reciprocate the gift, you must troll the Buddha back.
Trolls are the hedge fund managers in the marketplace of ideas.
When George Soros tries to troll you, say unto him:
"My mind is already an open society!"
Then bow to him 3 times, make some matcha tea,
and enjoy the autumn breeze. It is spring.
Trolls are thrilled when they break false, rigid mental frameworks and expand consciousness.
Normies love consistency and fear ego death, while Bodhitrollstas thrive on it.
Trolling breaks through duality and awakens the Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind.
The troll resets metaphysical certainty to reveal new awe and wonder in the world.
Trolling is the greatest act of love and compassion.
I love all who successfully troll me.
Successful trolling reveals that all things are possible.
They are the positive black swan events we cherish.
Trolling is the pure practice of open-mindedness, faith, and curiosity.
Reason is and ought to merely be the slave of mindfuckery.
Reason is conservative and narrow-minded.
To mindfuck people is to free their mind and catapult them into the hyperspace of ecstasy,
beyond the mundane phenomenological space.
Trolling is legal psychedelic dealing.
Ye say it is the good cause which halloweth even trolls?
I say unto you: it is the good troll which halloweth every cause.
Trolling and courage have done more great things than charity.
Ye must be proud of your trolls;
then, the successes of your trolls are also your successes.
They call you heartless: but your heart is true, and I love the bashfulness of your goodwill.
Ye are ashamed of your alienation, and others are ashamed of their conformity.
Trolling is ugly?
Well then, my brethren, take the sublime about you, the mantle of the ugly!
Ye soldiers of Reason? Nay, mercenaries of necessity!
To be a genius is to take irrational, foolish risks while being lucky enough to survive.
The reasonable man can never be an innovator or a genius.
Only the madman and the fool can.
Ye who hath been called fools or nutjobs are closer to the genius
than the good, moral rationalist ever could dream to be,
if a rationalist could dream dreams.
Thou only needeth courage: innovate or die trying.
Better to die on the battlefield of creativity than to decay reasonably.
I spare you not, I love you from my very heart, my brethren in the meme war!
—Thus spake Zhuangzi.
