Maravilla Beach Resort: A High School Reunion

Hello, dear Hivers, I'm back with a new blog. For today's content, I will be sharing here with you my experience at Maravilla Beach Resort with my good old friends from high school. Come join me in this one-of-a-life experience having a good time with the people I cherish.

High school friends are the people that really have a special space in our hearts. They might not be with us for the rest of our lives after high school is over, but they continue to influence our actions. Having a chat with them makes me feel like going back to the days we were still together. My high school friends are the people that never left me during my darkest; they are always there to comfort, always there to support, and always there to listen with my random rants and frustrations.

Oh, how good to have friends like them. Despite different paths we take, we still manage to chat and have a good time together. I tell you, it is the most wonderful thing ever. Being able to see your high school friends progress in life. Past will surely be recalled during reunions, hahaha. We all have that time in our lives that we go through our jeje days, puppy love with classmate, hahah, those can be used against us, hahah.

One day, my high school friends decided to have a beach outing together at Maravilla Beach Resort. It is one of the famous white sand beaches in the western part of Cebu, particularly located at Maravilla, Tabuelan, Cebu. From the national road in Ilihan, Tabogon, Cebu, it would take 30 minutes to 1 hour to travel via private vehicle. We go there via motorcycle since most of my classmates have one, so we decided to use it to save fare.

Upon arriving, the picturesque crystal and blue waters of the beach caught our sight. The white sand makes it more beautiful and mesmerizing. It offers a breathtaking view, perfect for photoshoots or beach weddings. Entrance to the beach is free, but if you decide to have a cottage, you can rent it for 300-500 pesos, depending on the type of cottage. There are also private rooms and villas perfect for people who seek a private beach out.

In our case, we choose to have a cottage since we will only last for a day at the beach. We gather together our food and snacks to be eaten together. We have each other's contribution for the cottage fee and for the food. Of course, we will not forget the drinks, both soft and hard. Eating together at the beach, especially with friends, is truly amazing. Time really flies so fast when you are enjoying and when you are with the people you cherish the most. It was indeed a beautiful experience having a beach out with high school friends. As to when will be the next, that is the biggest question.
