Hi everyone. Today I am doing a review on MANA coin. A friend of mine asked me to review it about two weeks ago. So I am just getting started on it. MANA coin’s website is called Decentraland.org. It's purpose is to create a virtual world that runs on open standards. So what does that man? It is basically a decentralized virtual reality platform powered by the Ethereum blockchain. Users can create, experience, and monetize content and applications. The feature I like about it personally as a computer programming is the ability to create virtual worlds in this environment and actually get paid doing it especially if it is really good.
Features
The first feature I want to go over is their SDK. It is a programmable tool-kit that lets you build on top of their existing virtual land called Genesis City. You have the opportunity to explore or even create your own piece of the universe within this environment. Within this platform you can purchase land through the Ethereum blockchain which gives you record of ownership. And the good thing about that is that no one can limit what you build. You can do anything in this space which could include go to a casino, watch a music, attend a workshop, shop with friends, start a business, test drive a car, visit an underwater resort, and so much more.
So Why Decentraland?
The company makes several assertions that include the following:
1 Provide a public virtual place ruled by open standards, shielded from agenda or any central organization.
2 Users should have full control over the content of the land they own and keep all the proceeds from the value they generate from others. Decentraland uses blockchain technology as a record of ownership.
Advisors/Team
MANA does have a decent board and team with venture capital ties. I’ll let you guys check out their Linkedin profiles. But these guys have experience in one or more industries in and out of the crypto space.
Road Map
So the road map of this company started in June 2015 with what they call the Stone Age. This was basically getting their foundation started. Then in March 2017 there was the Bronze Age. They had land modeled in a 3D space which includes having blockchain and torrent full node in addition to Unity integration. Then around August 2017, there was the MANA Contribution Period where you can use the MANA token to claim land and interact with each other within Dencentraland. Then late in Q4 2017 you had the first opportunity to claim land that took place with a beta launch of the Iron Age. The future roadmap for MANA will include the Iron Age and Silicon Age. The Iron Age will allow for multiplayer support with avatars and live chat. It will also allow custom items and scripting on the land you own. The Silicon Age will include VR Support and customization around the laws of physics so what comes up must come down, what speed are you going, and do you want to want fly.. well how do you want to do type of thing. That is just my guess as this has not been released yet.
Price and Target
Currently as it is May 27th 2018, MANA token is currently priced at about 9 cents with a total circulating supply of about 2.5 billion tokens. Now I used Litecoin as a benchmark when it comes to circulating supply and so MANA is 25 times the circulating supply of Litecoin. I hate to give price targets so I am not. But from a fundamental level there is a lot of things going on for this company and you can better believe that I will be developing on this platform.

There's potential to get confused with the Manna coin :)
and MONA coin too, but there is no confusing Decentraland, it is an awesome project!
Yes. Thank you Toonpunk. I will build on it really soon and post some projects. It should be interesting.
