<h5>The big picture of LUV <p dir="auto">The goal and <a href="https://peakd.com/hive/@luvshares/luv-roadmap" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" title="This link will take you away from hive.blog" class="external_link">roadmap of LUVshares remains unchanged: to spread love around the Hive blockchain. <p dir="auto">Things have been going fine for LUV. <p dir="auto">Since the last quarter's report, approximately <code>30,000 LUV tokens have been given out. Almost all were given out Hive-user-to-Hive-user by calling the <code>!LUV command. However, I feel it's a space that has much room to grow for us all. <span>. I look for things to manually curate with the <a href="/@luvshares">@LUVshares account and this is one of the main places I look. <p dir="auto"><strong>Inspectors - Abuse has been an issue to a degree with LUV as with other Hive tip tokens. Along with some other token creators and volunteers, we've tried to whittle it down and I think we have. <p dir="auto">If you see something that looks like abuse, please drop a note. There is an "inspectors" channel in the <a href="https://discord.gg/K5GvNhcPqR" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" title="This link will take you away from hive.blog" class="external_link">LUV Discord<span> and you can use that, but we're trying to migrate over the "Token Inspectors" Discord server at <a href="https://discord.gg/GEBPvrJfQT" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" title="This link will take you away from hive.blog" class="external_link">https://discord.gg/GEBPvrJfQT. There are several tokens there with the idea of combining efforts to stop abuse. Ideally, that's the best place to report possible abuse. We try to keep things on the downlow and quiet...that is, to deal with the issue but not give anyone a bad name. <p dir="auto"><strong>Drop in emissions - The graphs above show a drop in emissions during this quarter. We're accustomed to thinking, "That's bad," because we're used to looking at price charts. But, I think the drop is a <em>good thing. The drop is the result of cutting back on abuse and farming. Thanks to "inspectors", bad actors were blocked. They had been farming many tokens daily, call them "ghost tokens," and those tokens were weeded out. Also, LUV and HBIT went to a 3-or-fewer "!" commands rule (see below). With ghost tokens removed and the 3-rule in place, emissions returned to a more natural level. <p dir="auto">The inspection changes and slower emissions have <em>multiple benefits, in my view. <ol> <li><em>Keeps the supply down, which is always good to fight inflation. <li><em>Supports the good actors' token values because, when the bad actors are called out, they typically unload/sell large quantities and decrease token value. This only hurts the good guys. Squelching this <em>helps the good guys. <li><em>Supports the ideal of LUV actually meaning something intrinsic and totally separate from a market value. This is why real, from-the-heart comments are always encouraged alongside a LUV command. <p dir="auto"><strong>3-or-fewer rule - This rule for "!" commands was <a href="https://peakd.com/hive-159259/@luvshares/luv-command-by-itself" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" title="This link will take you away from hive.blog" class="external_link">announced as 1 only, then in the comments received some strong emotions, push-back, and healthy debate. I appreciated that, then <a href="https://peakd.com/hive-159259/@crrdlx/three-commands" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" title="This link will take you away from hive.blog" class="external_link">changed the plan to 3. So far, I think it has been a healthy compromise and is a good thing for LUV and for Hive. <p dir="auto"><strong>Transparency - This has been a goal since day one. This is part of the reason for these "quarter reports" and why the luv-log channel in the LUV Discord shows everything in real time. It's also why I recently made a <a href="https://peakd.com/hive-159259/@crrdlx/behind-the-scenes-at-luv" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" title="This link will take you away from hive.blog" class="external_link">behind-the-scenes video. <p dir="auto"><a href="https://crrdlx.websavvy.work/luvstore/index.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" title="This link will take you away from hive.blog" class="external_link"><strong>LUVstore - Yes, you can buy things with LUV (as well as with other Hive-Engine tokens). Currently, it's only NFTs for sale, but maybe in the future...who knows? Take a look and, why not, buy something with LUV? <p dir="auto">At this point, new LUV is only released into the market by Hive users sharing LUV via the LUVbot. This is what was described as the "<a href="https://peakd.com/mining/@luvshares/mining-a-different-perspective" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" title="This link will take you away from hive.blog" class="external_link">Proof-of-Love" "mining" algorithm. This is different in that your efforts don't reward you, but <em>your efforts rewards <em>others. <hr /> <h5>Looking forward <p dir="auto"><span>Want to be on the cutting edge of LUV?
