That reminds me of fishing with my dad in Alaska. Lots of bears are after fish too when the salmon are running, and walking the trails with a couple fat salmon in the creel can result in theft by hungry bears. This can muss your do, or even chip a nail. My dad told me to run fast and drop the fish if we came around a tree and faced a bear unexpectedly, or face a further fashion catastrophe. But he told me I didn't have to outrun the bear.
I just had to outrun him.
