The great American poet,Walt Whitman has written, "Simplicity is the glory of expression". In other words, while expressing your thoughts, always try to use most common words, because thoughts are more important than words and a well expressed thought is always taken seriously by people for whom your thoughts are meant. Great thoughts are often expressed in a simple manner, because their impact is more necessary than their diction. Make your language as simple as you can because the audience may not make out what you say if you use high-sounding words. It can be possible only when you do not try to look different from what you really are. Then, you would not be surprised to see people expressing their thoughts clearly and effectively.
" Great thoughts reduced to practice become great acts ". There is never anything like an idle talk for a good communicator. Some persons are naturally gifted with the ability to express their thoughts effectively and impress the listeners. But even if you do not have such an ability , you can impress everyone. You can improve your language considerably by choosing your words carefully ; keeping your language clear and concise; making your language real; appealing directly to senses telling completely what you are trying to convey. Your aim should be to convey the whole idea , because " the whole is simpler than the sum of its parts".
A great orator is always admired. He becomes an inspiration for others by virtue of his simplicity. His simplicity makes an admirable. But simplicity can only come when you are sincere and earnest. It is the ultimate result of your truthful action. You can achieve greatness with noble thoughts and intentions. Simplicity can also be cultivated by constant practice, as it is your belief in yourself and your dedication to what you want to do. Your handicaps are never an impediment as they can be overcome by efforts. You are master of your thoughts and if you want to change them , it depends only on you. Physical barriers cannot stop you from thinking of great things. It is only your attitude to life which makes all the difference.
You can stand apart from others by aiming high and using all your intellectual resources to achieve what you want. Never try to judge your accomplishments in isolation. Your achievements can be worth appreciating only when they are judged by others side by side with what others have achieved. Your " simple living and high thinking" attitude can do wonders . Remember the words of great thinker, Ralph Waldo Emerson- " Nothing is more simple than greatness; indeed to be simple is to be great." Great thoughts are expressed in a simple language influence people and start getting admired by them. You can also be admired.
