RE: Eagle Falls, Lake Tahoe - Photo Tutorial And Location Info

A few more reads on tips and tricks, and I amy be able to remember real soon that the bigger the number the less the light and more depth of field (f22), and small ISO number for less light sensitivity, combination allows for longer exposure time, to get that feel of motion. I do like how that photo looks. Now if I can remember all that when i head to the mountains, great.

Glad to be of help @bashadow! Haha! Yeah, good luck remembering in the field, that's always the tough part.

OK, here's a tip that a pro gave me when I was younger, for helping to remember how aperture affects depth of field. It doesn't really make sense scientifically but it helped me...

When you try really hard to see something, you squint your eyes and make them smaller. Similar to how if you want to have a good depth of field and see a lot of the scene in focus, you "squint" your lens aperture, or make it smaller (f22).

Hope that one helps!
