Jurassic-Era Giant Crocodiles Found With T-Rex Teeth

One of the top predators of the Jurassic period wasn't a dinosaur but a bone-crushing giant crocodile found in Madagascar, with the serrated teeth of a T-Rex.

Razanandrongobe sakalavae, known as "Razana," was 23 feet long and weighed between 1,760 and 2,200 pounds. It had powerfully muscled, deep - massive jaws and strong teeth like fangs for crunching through tendons and bones.

But unlike the conical teeth of modern crocodiles, Razana had serrated teeth that were even larger than those found on T-Rex and other similarly sized predatory dinosaurs. Moreover, Razana also had some chisel-like incisor teeth in the front that could be used to scrape meat from bones.

This leads the researchers to believe that Razana was a giant hunter and a scavenger who ever walked on earth.
