This is one of the numerous soldiers and it protects the others from external attack.
The soldier ants moves from one habitat to another convenient one either in search of food for the future (i.e the raining season)or in search of a better colony for their settlement.The ants are generally regarded as wise insects because they understand time and make good use of it.
