Hello Steemers! Here we go, my first post. This month I have done two kinda bold moves. First, my partner and I got the cutest 2 month old puppy (we named him Austin). I never had a pet and the thought of having one always got me nervous, too much responsibility, but we did it. I will share all my "first" experiences with Austin here on Steemit, I hope you will like. Anyone else thinking of getting a puppy, or just recently got one, say hello, let's exchange tips! Like I really want him to stop biting everything! Jeezzz (more on that in my next posts).

The other thing that I did this month is I decided to check what is the fuzz about the bitcoin world. I heard about bitcoins early 2010 ish, but I never did consider buying some (I soooo regret I didn't of course). So, I started to read and watch a lot of videos. I discovered this new world of blockchain, ETH, alt coins, steemit, view.ly (the new decentralized video sharing), digital exchanges, crypto wallets, etc. I got surprised that all this existed already and I knew nothing about. Did I miss the boat again? or is this just the start? I think this is just the start. I experimented a bit, got a BTC wallet, did few transactions (just bought fraction of BTC, with FIAT. Then I bought an alt coin, keep it few days and sold. Just to get the hang of how things work. I even invested in one ICO (initial coin offering). I will post my progress, what I learn, and looking forward to interact with you guys.

You, my friend, have not missed the boat at all. You are simply at the beginning of the second wave. At this moment only 1% of all people are involved in the new FinTech world. You are at the beginning of what will become 5% and then the moon. The market capitalization spike about 2 months ago at $110 billion it fell from there but it will be back soon.
@bruckdashel, good to hear. I understand that after August 1st, the market should really go up again. Thanks for your encouraging words :)
It should, but we'll see. There are a number of different roads that could be taken at this point and I don't think anyone has a crystal ball which can forewarn any of us.
