Canada has always been a welcoming place for Jamaicans. I am hoping to vandigital, most Jamaicans abroad would love to return home but the job situation in Jamaica can be challenging, hence why most of us are away, but saying that a lot of us do manage to return home and are very happy

That's what I've seen happen with my friends parents who moved back to JA to retire. Another friend of mine has a mango farm down there that enables her to visit at least once a year. But on the flip side I've had a few friends who got deported :(
Yeah, it's very popular for the senior folks who are retired and are able to live on their savings, pensions, or on the sale of their home. Unfortunately deportee is a downside and part of life for those who are impatient and are not willing to go through the long waiting list for visas to the U.S, Canada or Europe. It's sad vandigital, but I guess this situation is world wide when it comes to countries that are having economical challenges.
