I have chiggers! 🤢 Yuck!!!! 
My fiancé and I like to camp a lot, unfortunately chiggers enjoy it too!! What are chiggers? They're parasites are rarely seen with the naked eye. When the first chiggers pop up on your skin they just look like teeny tiny itchy red dots. They bite you and drink your blood through a stylosome. A stylosome is a fancy name for a "straw" formed from hardened skin cells.I had never heard of or had chiggers until I moved to Alabama. At first I thought I just had mosquito or some other little insects bites. When it got to this point (observe picture) 
I had to take my fiancés advice by using fingernail polish. I don't want to walk around looking like pink paint exploded all over my legs so I'm using clear! Recently I have read that fingernail polish does nothing to help get rid of chiggers but I disagree. I have used it to get rid of mine several times with success. Have you ever gotten chiggers and if so how do you get rid of them?
