Never Back Down, Never Give Up: My Introduction Blog

Good day, HIVE! It’s me @deznats. I’m from the northern part of Cebu which is located in Don Gregorio Antigua, Borbon, Cebu, Philippines. I’m 17 years old. I am the second elder of six and I want to share my Introduction here on HIVE.

My life is always at its ups and downs because of the challenges in life, my mother is only a housewife with a small sari-sari store while my father is a tempura vendor who earns a small amount of salary. So as one of the eldest sons, I must carry heavy duties on my back doing both house chores and schoolwork while hearing negative comments from people around me, especially from my family. But I still do believe in myself and have high hopes for achieving my dreams and ambitions in life.

Being the eldest son means all the pressure is on me and that I need to work harder. I am still a senior high school student and my parents still haven’t decided whether I continue to college or not but for me, I want to continue college. Since I am still a senior high schooler, I want to find a source of income to help my family pay the bills, but I still use my time to do school activities, because my parents won’t let me. Because they don’t want me to suffer from being poor. Last year (2022) I had a mental breakdown because of family problems where it was very life-draining, there was a point where I wanted to end everything but I just couldn't let it slide easily, depression is always in me ever since, but I know there’s more things to achieve than ending it on a small problem.

The challenges I’ve faced gave me the strength to pursue my dreams. Not only do I want this but also my family’s wants. I need to be strong in facing the difficulties in life, reminding myself not to quit because I still haven’t finished my purpose and my obligations in life even though life weakened me from its harsh waves. I need to fight for my dreams to live the life I wanted. Because this challenges is only a test in order to conquer the problems in life. To grow and have a good mindset that helps me solve the problems of my life additionally, a good mindset reminds me not to give up easily and never let pressure take over my goals in achieving my dreams.

Hobbies and likes

My hobbies and likes are just simple. My hobbies are working out, going to the Gym lifting heavy weights, sleeping, eating delicious foods, especially spicy, playing with dogs, sharing memes, walking on the city street at night, star gazing, and looking at sunsets at the beach or even mountain.

Deadlifting because my entire muscles are working especially my back. I want to achieve having a massive back so that I don’t have to deal with negative people talking behind my back.

Going to the beach and feeling the warm breeze of salty air makes me comfortable and removes all of the stress in my head, living beside the highway gives me the thoughts of wanting to live near the beach to experience looking at the shore, walking on the sands, and playing with the ocean water makes me wanna live near the shore someday. Viewing the beauty of the sea and admiring the waves, maybe soon if I finally have achieved most of my goals maybe one day I will live near the shore with my loved ones and dogs. But for now, I must stay focused on what’s today.

Night walks is very peaceful but scary at the same time, but having chills and listening at the streets gives me peace just listening to slow cars moving, constructing buildings, people at the streets sitting on the sidewalk talking on random things watching people walking their pets, eating streetfoods, and knowing that some people are asleep but you just there at night enjoying to a silent city

Finally, Sunsets never fails to comfort me when I am at my lowest,
It teaches me that everyday, there is always a day to shine, and at the end of the day never give up because there is still tomorrow.

What to expect from my Blog & Who introduced HIVE to me and how can I contribute?

My Blog would probably be just randoms and maybe my life journey here in the world, exploring places that I am new at, learning new things, or maybe also my life problems and how I solved and overcoming it. It is all about being strong and overcoming the obstacles along the way. This is only the beginning of the story, there will still be some exciting parts in life that I haven’t been in experiencing. Because we don’t know how the world works and since we don’t control our destiny. We just need to go with the flow of what our lives meant for.

Honestly, I don’t know how but if the world might put the pressure on me, I need to stand up for myself in order to achieve my dreams, that’s why I need to handle the things life gives me. I might share my journey in the fitness community, my travels in life, Life is short, and we must enjoy every moment of it. Every moment might be small but it will memorable one day.

Joining the Blog Community is an opportunity to meet new people, explore places that I am new to, learn to have fun doing outdoor activities from different cultures, and capture every moment that inspires others along the way of my journey. This opportunity not only helps me to not just earn money but to help me admire other people’s lives to learn from their Blogs and experiences.

I am very blessed and happy that our teacher introduced HIVE and also to Ma’am Clara and Sir Kim, it is really a great privilege to be a part of HIVE Community. I’m very excited to share my journey to all members of HIVE and I pray and have high hopes for everyone to succeed in their respective lives.
