This one is very different then last weeks syrupy all synth piece. Not mellow, instead "dramatic" might be a better word, and this time with a strong somewhat slow heavy beat. Beside drums there is also guitar and bass (well baritone guitar because my bass is busted at the moment). This is also a very short piece for me. It probably needs a second part which I have ideas for. It needs words too, so I'll probably be doing this one again in the future. I'm keeping to my once a week "release" schedule though.
The instruments used are:
- A Old "Sears" Silvertone guitar is the lead guitar
- The Silvertone and was also was used to lay down a rhythm guitar loop
- My Lemon Drop is providing the clavichord-ish sound is dominating the synths
- A baritone guitar is used for the bass guitar lines.
- The Drum toms are from my Beat Buddy
- The Crave is paying an arpeggio under it all
- and a West Pest is buried in there somewhere playing the same arpeggio
Thanks for your listening
And of course have a happy new year everyone! Leave a comment below. Should I do more like this or return to the trippier mostly synth sounds like I did last week? I love to hear your thoughts.
