Thank you for this post and the stats @krnel! It's not easy to talk about these topics without sounding as if you are trying to scare the shit out of your readers. You managed to write objectively and without bias. We really don't know the scale of surveillance we are under, otherwise we wouldn't just let it be. But the thing that is even more wrong than spying on citizens is what the governments are planning to use this information for. Total control, silencing, social engineering, social profiling...
