Happy Independence Day to all Indians

Hi Friends... It's the 73rd Independence day in our country, India.🇮🇳

We the residents of around 50 to 60 homes in our small locality, also celebrate this as a small festival, by hoisting a flag and singing some patriotic songs (Desh Bhaktigeeth). These are some photos of today's function.

This is a stray dog of our locality, loved and cared by everyone. Some call him 'Tom' and some have named him 'Jim!'. I call him 'Baba', and he too was present at the premises today much earlier, in spite of heavy rain!. He was inviting everyone by swinging his tail, as we reached near the flag pole.

Now here is something surprising!

Then he chose to sit in the middle as if he was the chief guest, until the flag was hoisted and we all seluted the Flag.

He kept watching all the faces,and soon he too started to selute the flag, but with his left hand. May be he got confused, which hand to use, as we were all standing in a circle!

I am happy that not only humans, but also the animals in our place are well cultured.😍

Yes...We are all Pround Indians! Jai Hind!
