So I bought a Google Home Mini.
I have a couple of chromecast audios and a 1st gen chromecast video, out of the box it works brilliantly with those. Being able to say "hey google, play some foo fighters on kitchen speakers" and "play some fail videos on the TV" works seamlessly.
It also works perfectly with Phillips hue lights out of the box
I can also tap into my tasker commands on my phone using autovoice. So I can say "Hey google, tell autovoice, I'm going to bed" and it will pass a command to tasker on my phone which in then sends a command to my domoticz server to activate my bedtime scenario (which turns the lights off and everything else, dims the bedroom lamps gradually and sets the bed room to sleep mode). Using google assistants shortcut feature I can shorten this to "Hey Google, I'm going to bed" to make it all a bit more seamless.
There's so much potential for this , I cant wait to integrate it properly with my Kodi media centre and the rest of my home automation.
