I've taken my first steps into being profitable

So yesterday I undertook my first paid sprinting and runners. It was only a small group of Beach runners and Track runners. But it truley amazed me to see how little effort the coaches of these sport actually put into technique or quality of running. their previous training methods were basically, run around the track, then your finished, run it again.

So for me a typical running session includes the following:

  1. Ankle mobility and general warm up
  2. Technique drills, learning the shapes and positions for running. This is the most important part of any session, even Usain Bolt at his peak was doing this exact same drill.
  3. Fast feet and plyometrics
  4. Strength training with a lot of explosive squats and resisted sprints
  5. Energy system traning

then lastly, in every session we hold a battle rope challenge. This allows you to push yourself to the max and expend all of your energy into throwing that heavy rope around. The group cheers each other on, and the goal is just to improve your time from last week. Because these are all athletes, there are egos at play and it gets really competitive.

If you'd like ot learn more about any of my drills or sessions, don't hesitate to reach out.
