Hey everyone! As you all know, @redditposh has been running quite well lately in terms of scanning for Hive front-end links on Reddit and alerting the author that their post got shared with a link to it. Thanks to the maintenance by @hivetrending!
The difficulties with Reddit compared to our previous main activity of POSH is that when you submit links to subreddits there's rules that come with it and restrictions. Similar to communities here where they won't want you posting about holozing in the Hive Pets community for instance you gotta spend some time looking for an appropriate one to share a hive post on.
Cause of all these rules and restrictions and on top of reddit's search being terrible, we thought we'll hire someone who wants to experiment sharing Hive posts using @redditposh to create and maintain an active list of suggestions on subreddits to share hive posts to.
What we're looking for:
Someone experienced using Reddit and having some activity to show for it.
That person then giving @redditposh a try and documenting the experiments. For instance: I shared this post regarding #crypto #bitcoin #exchange in these subreddits: x, y, z and none got deleted, or got me banned or shadowbanned.Knowing how to check if you're shadowbanned.
Creating a list with different niches in order of subreddit size and which accept hive links and which don't for others wanting to share hive links to easily find a relevant one to share themselves
@poshtoken isn't very rich but it's one of the projects I believe most stakeholders are okay getting post rewards in an effort to boost token value and incentivize sharing of our front-ends outside. We don't favorite any front-end, we just want more traffic to come to our ecosystem. We will however build some funds to spend on a person or a couple people working on this experiment and list we can then keep pinned to our accounts so others can easily find and look through it.
Subreddits receive more shares and traffic as well so it's a win-win.
Anyway, if you have extra time and the know-how please apply here or catch me on Discord: acidyo to discuss this further and in more detail. We'll set aside a few hundred HBD for this activity so it'll help garner more traffic to our ecosystem through shares without requiring sharers to find subreddits on their own, go through the process of checking if they got deleted or not and in general having to look for specific subreddits which usually are quite hard to find as they all have uniquely squatted names.
As example: https://www.reddit.com/r/trees/ is about marijuana while https://www.reddit.com/r/marijuanaenthusiasts// is about actual trees.
Anyway, please get in touch and let's see what we can do to make sharing on Reddit easier for everyone!
Readers please reblog so we can find the best person for this job!

I would love to know a little more about this #POSH project and more on Reddit where I see you can get excellent rewards and accumulate them for the future why not have good savings
would love to help but at the moment I do not have the necessary knowledge to strengthen the #POSH team on Reddit but it is a very good project with a view to the future of that I am 100% sure
Congratulations @acidyo! You have completed the following achievement on the Hive blockchain And have been rewarded with New badge(s)

Imagine that, I guess Elon has really turn twitter into a hustling ground not to give value but to gain massively
Look now further!
With your general attitude and the weird powertrips you are experiencing, I think you'd be the perfect reddit admin. I bet you even look the part.

.If you haven't found people yet, I could try to collect info about such subreddits.
I don't know yet but Gemini AI will help, I guess. :D
As for Reddit, I am a reader there, almost daily, but that's probably not enough to call me an experienced Redditor. That's my page: https://www.reddit.com/user/x___rain/ I had an experience of sharing Hive links on Reddit so I have an idea how to search for appropriate subs.
An easy way to check on shadowbannedness is to just open the subreddit in incognito. They'll usually show your submission if you're logged in but not to anyone else.
Sorry must've missed this comment somehow and first now saw it. Did you start building a list of experimentation?
Hey. I've built the first list of experimentation:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/13I-9ox3YKL69hqKF8z_71YrKp9GL0guCc-URaMqDhew/edit
Should I send you this somewhere else like OCD #general-chat on Discord?
Hey, would you wanna share them as a post in the HivePosh community? We could then give it a decent vote and include it in the other list @cryptoreforma created.
If it wouldn't be too much work it'd be awesome if you could also split the subreddits up by genre and sub count similar to here: https://peakd.com/hive-197333/@cryptoreforma/re-cryptoreforma-skl71c
and we'll make sure to send you and cryptoreforma some additional liquid hive for your efforts, thank you!
I've updated with this one:
r/web3domains
I detected a problem with the subreddit:
https://www.reddit.com/r/blackandwhite
It accepts the link from HIVE but then there's no connection with RedditPosh. It could be our problem. Because it's already happened with this one:
https://peakd.com/hive-142159/@cryptoreforma/round-grey-eng-en
Hmm @hivetrending could u take a look why @redditposh doesn't get alerted for submissions in that subreddit?
It could be a temporary issue with Reddit API. It's hard to tell, that reddit post was around a month ago.
I'd recommend trying again. I don't think its related to subreddit
Great. I will split and post tomorrow.
Posted yesterday at night: https://peakd.com/hive-197333/@x-rain/how-anyone-can-help-hive-by-sharing-links-on-reddit-and-get-rewarded-for-that
Yeah thanks, a lot going on atm hard to stay on top of things!
I didn't. I see the thing this way: first, I'll compile a list of the most active Hive communities to see what topics are the most popular. Then, I'll find what subreddits can work for these topics. And then I'll start to exclude subreddits that don't work with Hive for one or another reason by means of experimentation.
