After many days of endless worries, barely sleeping, and moments filled with fear that the worst might happen or simply not knowing how it would all end, I can say that my little big one is now okay. He is still taking his medications and on a strict diet to help his liver recover better and to ensure his pancreas functions normally, but the important thing is that he is fine.

Sigue tomando sus medicamentos y con una dieta estricta para ayudar a recuperar mejor su hígado y que su páncreas funcione con normalidad, pero lo importante es que está bien.
A few days ago, he turned 7 years old, and because of everything he went through, I think it was a special birthday because I truly didn't know if he would make it to his birthday, but I'm very happy that he did and is doing well! He is super energetic, wants to play, jump, bark, and be the same little rascal as always.
[ESP] Hace unos días cumplió 7 añitos, y por todo lo que pasó creo que fue un cumple especial porque de verdad no sabía si iba a llegar a cumplirlos, pero estoy muy feliz de que así sea y bien! Está super animado, quiere jugar, saltar, ladrar, y ser el mismo loquito de siempre.
In this latest photo, you can see his scar; it's quite large, but the good thing is that he doesn't even notice it, he completely ignores it, so he hasn't had to wear the "cone of shame"😅 or anything at all. In a few days, they'll remove the stitches and he'll be as good as new!
[ESP] En esta última foto se puede observar su cicatriz, es bastante grande, pero lo bueno es que él ni se entera que la tiene, la ignora completamente, por lo que no ha tenido que usar el "collar de la vergüenza"😅 ni nada de nada. En unos días le sacan los puntos y queda como nuevo!

Thank you very much for your words and for taking the time to read. Kimi is a German Shorthaired Pointer; I'm not sure if that's the name of the breed in English, but I think it is. He is quite large, but not like a Great Dane. I didn't want any more purebred dogs because I prefer to adopt, but he was given to me as a gift, and it was love at first sight, and here we are 7 years later... ❣️

Hola por aquí. No sé que le sucedió a tu perrito, pero me alegra mucho que esté fuera de peligro. Cualquier problema que tenga que ver con el hígado o el páncreas es bastante grave y bueno, han podido salir de ello. Un abrazo
