The very fact that I love music makes this an extremely hard topic to answer.
In truth there are probably ten or songs that rank up there as my favourite song, but I am going to go with one that gives me very happy memories.
After all, life is about the why ... About your why!

Cool song but why do I like it?
It is upbeat, it has lyrics everyone can remember and can sing along too!
You know the sort of thing ... karaoke darn I had a hard time trying to spell that!
The real reason is that I am Rangers football fan...
We adopted it and for many years the team would run onto the pitch with Tina Turner blaring out of the stadium speakers and on the giant screens fifty thousand Rangers fans singing along.
It made for a fun time, especially in those days when we would all have a good few pints before the game started.
What do you think about this...
That was probably twenty years ago when I was a regular at Ibrox watching Rangers live.
However we live in a nanny police state that the woke people have destroyed. We can't say boo without getting locked in jail now. So those chants have been banned, yet the other lot (Celtic) do the same thing.
Crazy but that is why I love Tina Turner's rendition of Simply the Best!

I've always liked the song, but I think I really fell in love with it during the pandemic when my wife and I were binge watching Schitts Creek. There was an episode it played pretty prominently in and I will always remember it for that.
Oh god yes schitts creek, that was a cracking show!
It made us laugh a lot in a time when there wasn't much to laugh about.
