Hello dear friends, I am @onos-f and I am here to remind you that the past is gone and gone forever, however, it is very important to look into it sometimes, so as to learn certain lessons that can promote a better future. The lessons that we get from past experiences could be lessons of failure or that of success. If one failed in the past, he learns lessons that can bring about success in the future be doing things differently so as to avoid failing again in the future. On the other hand, if one succeeded in the past, he learns lessons of success so as to keep succeeding in the future by maintaining and improving the skills that enabled him to succeed in the past. Put differently, one good thing that the past can offer us is lessons. Therefore let us learn to learn from the past but not live in the past. Be it past successes or past failures.
Furthermore, the future is a mystery and no one knows what will happen except God. As such, as finite beings, it is only normal to be worried sometimes about tomorrow because it is filled with uncertainties. However, no matter how much we ponder or worry or think about the future, we cannot speak in concrete terms regarding our fate in the future. It is on this note that it becomes very imperative to place the future into the hands of God who knows and sees all things even our innermost desires and always ask for his directions.
'Oh the future lies before me'. It is a song of prayer imploring God to take care of the future and let his will be done. Obviously the future of Africa as a continent is in a terrible mess as our leaders never really care about the well being of the poor masses. This song which I bring to you today is very popular among the African nations because we believe that one day God will see us through our difficulties and grant us a glorious future. As you listen to me play my Soprano Recorder and also sing for you, may God bless your future and give you peace and joy. 🙏🙏In this week 91 of #afritunes, the title of the song I'm bringing to you is
LYRICS OF THE SONG
Oh, I often sit and ponder,
When the sun is sinking low,
Where shall yonder future find me:
Does but God in Heaven know?
Shall I be among the living?
Shall I mingle with the free?
Wheresoe’er my path be leading,
Savior, keep my heart with Thee.
Oh, the future lies before me,
And I know not where I’ll be;
But where’er my path be leading,
Savior, keep my heart with Thee.
THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR PRESENCE 🙏

This is very true, no one knows tomorrow, for example what we’re thinking to be impossible today might not be tomorrow when it come to pass with ease.
