Hip-Hop//Rap: My favorite Genre

My love for hip-hop music started from listening to the Empire State of Mind, sung by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys. The music lyrics opened my eyes to the real-world lifestyle. Before then I loved listening to my country's normal music which is Afro music, even to date I still love Afro music but my love for hip-hop songs is different and special.

I love Rap because rap lyrics hit differently. Personally, I see rap as a message and means of expression. I listen and vibe to some artists like 2pac, Andre 3000, Kendrick Lamar, and Jay-Z, I see these artists as an inspiration to my lifestyle and vibes. Am not a fan of studying different types of genres but so far so good, Hip-hop and rap have been my favorites and have remained unbeatable. Presently Travis Scott has been on my top list even to date. The beats and the lyrics, how they sound unique.

There are several types of subgenres of hip hops, some of which include gangsta rap, Trap Music, jazz rap, and a lot more. My favorite type of Hip hop is Trap Music. I deeply love vibing to trap music. They hit differently to my soul and mind. The Migos, made me love trap rap, the beats they use, and rap flows. The Migos are three, they include Quavo, offset and late take off. I still listen to their music to date.

Trap Music, I can boldly say has won my heart completely and has made other subgenres look inferior. Although sometimes the genres can be mixed up with trap rap. I love the beats trap music gives.

My best song ever today is No Bystander and Sickomode by Travis Scott.

I have never been to Travis Scott's concert, but going to one of his concerts will be my greatest dream ever. Although Travis has a different style of mending several genres in one song because he is a music genius.

Hip hop and rap are different but sometimes hip hop can be used like rap music. Hip hop most times needs the support of rapping. Another artist I can boldly recommend that you listen to is Kendrick Lamar. Kendrick Lamar's style of music is hip-hop and rap. I love Kendrick's lyrics be it is some of the best styles of lyrics ever heard.

Personally is see music as a sound that feeds my Soul and body. I play instruments like Drums, piano, and guitar. Music is love, music is healthy, and it is the best food for our feelings and emotions. I also listen to other genres like Blues, jazz, folk, and a lot more. Having good taste and a personal type of music favorite style is best for living a happy life. Good music can cause a happy mood and reduce stress.

Throughout my journey in life, I have been able to listen to several types of music and I must say Lyrics matter a lot more to me than just the some, this is why I take hip-hop/rap as my number one overall because rappers tend to speak from their reality, experience and event around them.
