📷 Tram in Graz + Speed Effect [EN/DE]

One thing I like about my hometown is that old trams are not simply replaced by newer models. This is only partially the case in Graz, because many decades-old models are still in service in the Styrian capital. When walking through the city center, you encounter a wide variety of models from different years. I find the older models particularly photogenic and love to photograph them. For the first photo, I used a speed effect in Photoshop. The trams aren't quite that fast, but they have been reliably taking people from A to B for many, many decades, which is something all models have in common.

Eine Sache, die ich an meiner Heimatstadt mag, ist, dass alte Straßenbahnen nicht einfach durch neuere Modelle ersetzt werden. Dies geschieht in Graz nur teilweise, denn auch viele Jahrzehnte alte Modelle sind in der steirischen Hauptstadt nach wie vor unterwegs. Bei einem Spaziergang durch das Zentrum begegnen einem die verschiedensten Varianten aus unterschiedlichen Jahrgängen. Besonders die älteren Modelle finde ich sehr fotogen und liebe es, sie zu fotografieren. Für das erste Foto verwendete ich einen Geschwindigkeits-Effekt in Photoshop. Ganz so schnell sind die Straßenbahnen nicht unterwegs, doch sie bringen einen seit vielen vielen Jahrzehnten zuverlässig von A nach B, das haben alle Modelle gemeinsam.
