Yesterday was Canada day and I took my two daughters down to the harbor in Hamilton Ont. to watch the fireworks show. Which I knew was going to be interesting lol, The oldest has been scared of them every time we have gone to see them and it was a first for the younger one. Then the very large crowds of people present another challenge, but we went to pier 8 (the main festivities are at pier 4) so there wasn't that many people.
We set up in a nice, quiet spot and watched the sunset. As we watched I thought this could be an interesting location for photos of the fireworks, using the boats in the foreground.
The show began and to my surprise, the oldest daughter was really excited and happy! No fear at all. My youngest was indifferent lol, not scared but also not happy. She fell a sleep half way through the show.
It was a fun night and despite having to utilize some multitasking skills lol, I am very happy with the photo results.
