Good morning Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I got here for you all today are some shots that I took of this Western Blue Bird while I was on the hunt taking pictures of that Vermilion Flycatcher a few weeks back. I have four shots here today, which is all of them that I had edited but whats funny is I kept trying to get the this Western Blue Bird in flight and was really unsuccessful. So in these shots they are all perched and you don't even get to see the back where the blue of this bird stands out but its all good, I have posted this bird in the past with good shots too, just thought I'd put up on this post a new style bird that I haven't posted in awhile. With these shots here I was playing with the color of the blue sky, so they are somewhat different but still cool shots to post. Now lets get into these shots here today, the cover shot, the one above is my favorite, why you might ask, well I always get the shot that you see next, a total side view of the head but for me I thought that this angle and direction of this Western Blue Birds head was pretty cool, different as well and I think it was getting locked in on a flying object to eat. In the next shot below, is the normal shot, the one we always seem to get perched but it is real nice and detailed.

Here is another shot, you can really see that this guy is focused on the flies and nats etc. He is definitely in hunting mode and you can really tell on the look of him. I feel like that is another aspect on why I love photography, you may not see what the person behind the lens is thinking on capturing that moment but I am sure everyone can have a mind of their own to figure out something in an image, a feeling, what it says to you.

In the last shot here, another nice one a bit more color was edited just because I was playing around with the editing of these shots, seeing that I posted along time ago its always fun to mess around to see things try and pop when you edit them.
