The Sandhyamalati flower (Mirabilis jalapa) represents a remarkable natural wonder which people know as Four O'Clock Flower. Sandhyamalati flowers emerge at nighttime and produce sweet odors which draw pollinating butterflies and moths to them. Sandhyamalati becomes strikingly photogenic for photography sessions when captured during dusk hours.

The optimal period for photographing Sandhyamalati flowers emerges when they blossom in late afternoon throughout evening due to their evening time opening cycle. The brighter part of sunset creates a hazy appearance that makes delicate flower colors become even softer. Taking advantage of natural light enables viewers to see the various pink, yellow and white and purple tints that exist in this flower.
