I’d really like to know how those skid marks happen, it’s so intriguing to look at.

This was the luck of that newly cured sidewalk, which is combed so that there are all these small ridges. Also, the sidewalk was slanted and the decay ran down into the tiny valleys between the ridges, collecting there and staining them.
