Birds 🐦 are beautiful creatures that I wish to photograph more often, though they are very difficult to photograph 📸 due to their fast and unpredictable movement.
I had passed Tarras on State Highway 8 and turned onto State Highway 8A heading to Wanaka when I stopped for photos of the sheep and the White-faced heron. The heron felt my presence and moved away each time I got closer.
From a brief reading about the White-faced heron, they mostly found around shallow water and feed on sunburnan fish pond 🐟
Wow, the bird looks very beautiful. The sheep also caught my attention, they were very compact as if they were doing a family photo shoot.
Yes the sheep looks beautiful and they looked curious at me as I took photos 📸 of them. I had fun taking photos of the bird 🐦.

I experienced that too birds are very difficult to photograph 📸 I was fortunate this one didn't fly away. Apparently I am told NZ birds are lazy to fly because there are no land predators that attacks them.
