Welcome in this post I am taking a deeper look 🤣 A deeper look because I picked up this neat microscope, it can work as a standalone with it's own screen built in battery and memory stick.
I figured this thing could come in handy, I am also heavy into macro photography and this is as macro as it gets, I can inspect my 3d prints my coins and other stuff I am working on, and maybe see some cool stuff too.
Got a 5 inch screen with some controls and a focusing nob, check out this silver dime bellow
We can get nice and close but it looks like anything bigger will not fit that is as far as it goes stock and as you can see we struggle to fit this dime, maybe I can design and print my own rail/stand but it suppose it's fine can move around and see it all just not fit in one frame.
Then I tried my crusty finger tips
And then I went to check out my 5 grain silver bar can really capture the detail but the light from the microscope is drowning out some details with reflection, I can control or even shut that light off and figure out some other ways to get the picture quality up.
I am liking this thing and the form factor makes it easy for the kids to enjoy it too we can explore the little world together.
