So another post on reflections. We are in the 12th day of total Lockdown with another two weeks at least to go.no contact with the world outside the house except to shop for essentials ,medical and local neighbourhood exercise. So this is part of my therapy.
All photos are light reflected thru. a lens. Reflections then are reflections of reflections-does that make sense?
Me reflected on stainless steel at Auckland waterfront.
An old school retro film camera shop. I took this shot on an angle to the display to get more reflection from the glass of the street. It is hard to see where the display starts and the street reflection begins .I love the old cameras which give a different quality to data images and they are making a comeback for that reason.
This shop front always gives great reflections of the street. The mannequins are bizarre and sad but make for an interesting image.
Downtown Auckland after a rain storm. Puddles pop up everywhere you just have to be in the right place at the right time.
A cat in an antique store display seeming to look longingly at the park outside. I know that feeling!
Auckland Skytower at dawn. The still dark water makes for a perfect reflection
Another shop front where the reflection almost swallows up the display.
Another very shallow puddle reflection on paving stones. You can see the paving stones thru .the image
The tannin in the water and the sunlight make for the deep tones and the still water makes for a clear reflection.
So that's me reflecting on reflections. I hope you enjoyed this Lockdown post. Next time you're out take a look-there are reflections all around if you just take time to see them.
Awesome reflection of different sorts! Great job.
Thanks C for your ongoing interest!
You are most welcome. I was gonna nominate for curation but i found it too late to add. Keep up the great work though.... =)
