It's been a long time since I hunted insects because I was busy so I didn't have time to go to the forest. But when I have the opportunity to hunt for macro objects, it will certainly be my choice to fill the free time.
That's what I did about two days ago, I went back to combing the bushes for interesting insects. Even though I didn't manage to photograph many, I thought these two species of beautiful butterflies typical of Southeast Asia were worthy of sharing here.
The first is a type of skipper butterfly which is indicated by the Latin name Pelopidas mathias or also known as the dark small-branded swift. It is a species of skipper butterfly from the Hesperiidae family which can be found in several Asian countries, especially Southeast Asia such as Indonesia, Malaysia & Thailand.
Photographing butterflies is fun but also not an easy matter, because generally flying insects are objects that are quite difficult to target. And that's what I experienced when I photographed this beautiful yellow butterfly below. Several times I had to move locations to follow where the butterfly was so I managed to capture several photos of these beautiful butterflies. Even though the results of my shots are not perfect, some of the portraits I managed to take paid off my tiredness. :)
