We finally have some fall temperatures! Actually waited a little to go out this morning, for it to warm up just a little bit. Was barely above freezing when we first got up.
Walked a good 5 kilometers in beautiful fall weather.
The amazing fall colors are starting… luckily that also means less mosquitoes.
This cluster of mushrooms growing on a log…
… and a cardinal at the top of this tree looking down on us… they are so beautiful.
Later I was in the garden harvesting the peppers and the watermelon, since we are expecting freezing temperatures tonight.
Spent some time knitting and made home made pizza for dinner. All in all a pretty active day.
Thanks for stopping by, take care and stay safe.

Nice Day, I like your harvest part, the water melon 🍉 look amazing. It’s been a while I haven’t heard knitting, what are your current knitting project?
Right now I’m knitting mittens and some Christmas stockings, so no large projects right now.
Small projects like this at this time of the year look like you will make great Christmas gifts to the people you care about! I use to get a new pair of socks 🧦 every Christmas for the longest time from my grandma or my aunt. Enjoy your knitting.
