One of the healing journey for the soul is that you have something to give thanks, and that is still able to have an annual family activity that we all can enjoy doing, feeling achievement.

Baking is one of them

So to overcome the seniors boredom and restlessness, moreover my occasional anxiety when I look at the balance of my savings (especially after the unforseen unfortunate accident) , I asked the LORD:

"How can I walk past this shadow of lack? There has been so many people blessing me through YOUR provision, but scripture YOU also encourage entrepreneurship based on the parable of the 10 talents

I truly wish I can finally be out of this, debt free, and be able to be a blessing to others.

But a constant down market, and the LORD didn't allow me still to turn the kombucha as a business but still as a blessing of FIRST fruits to HIM, it is very limited with a pay-check to pay-check life to overflow to others.

I needed a way to be FIRST, debt free.

" What are your 5 loaves and 2 fishes? "

The LORD impressed into my heart.

" Look at what you already have... "

• a tiny capital
• alive talented (and bored from unproductive) parents
• a passion for baking
• a Mid Autumn recipe

Everything was right in front of me: enough resources to know what to do. All we need is a little capital.

Thanks to mom's generosity and the ability to make friends with church ministers and seniors who equally loved this traditional Mid Autumn cookie, we had quite a bit of an overwhelming response to order.

And having @craftsofluv dormant in just one type of service, more on crafts, it will need to evolve into a different type of craft in this season.

Even though the ingredients aren't as cheap as before, but we decided since this is a debut expansion seasonal project, we made sure our R&D over the years were not in vain.

Everything is done from scratch, to ensure we are able to control the quality

Much to learn along the way, and we did have our very first batch destroyed due to the fact we miscalculated and mom forgotten which recipe she modified.

_Note to self: you just write down dates when you modify / update a recipe to ensure no errors

However, by the Grace of God, our first largest order was out and our "customer" was very pleased to the point she ordered a second batch.

Even though this is using my logo, but payments are all transferred to my mom's account.

After being born again, they haven't really understood the first fruits offering from what the LORD has blessed, namely this seasonal tiny side hustle, and this is a good chance for them to honour their first fruits to the LORD, when the payments come in, just like the good servants who multiplied the master's talents.

That's one good way to truly live out the life in Christ, by honouring what was blessed upon our hands.

There isn't much of net profit from this debut project, because some of the old utensils gave way and we needed to get new ones.

But this is still a proper way to do let the LORD multiply what we have, the 5 loaves and 2 fishes on our hands; and I pray with a proper (slow and steady, hardwork) way to go debt free , HE will be pleased with our offering.

I am privileged to learn from the master chef a.k.a. mom and hopefully I will keep this yearly legacy going until the next hand in the family is willing to learn.
