Happy Caturday everyone! So what, do you ask, does pudgy have to do with anything? More on that in a moment!
March 2nd, and we get this…….
It was a snow squall! So we jumped in the car and headed to the bay for a quick hike along the boardwalk. We figured it wouldn’t be snowing there. Wrong! So, I got out my trusty snow-brella when we arrived to protect from the elements. I’ve said I’ve always wondered what it was like at the boardwalk during winter and I guess I found out today, lol! While there we experienced snow, rain, wind and sunshine-sometimes all at the same time! I did capture a beautiful photo of a crane at the water’s edge.
He was there when we went by and also when we came back. Everybody with a phone or a camera was stopping to take his picture! I think he stayed there so long as he knew just how handsome and photogenic he was. Just look at the feathers below his neck!
I even found a ‘shroom growing in a protected area.
We were fairly frozen when we called it and headed back to the car. 🥶
Now, on to the pudgy question…….
There are some new kids in town! Pudgy Penguins!
They are collectible plushies and figures attached to Pudgy Penguins game and ethereum NFT. There’s a bit to digest yet about it but to start, you create an account. You immediately get a Pudgy Penguin you can name and who get character traits. If you purchase a plushie or collectible figure, they come with a QR code you scan which unlocks more traits. Traits include hats, clothing, skin colors and more.
Once you are in Pudgy World, you can play games to earn coins and gems which you can use to get more traits. It’s kind of in a beta stage but rumor has it that it’s something to watch. Besides, @actifit-lamb is excited about having some new arctic buddies to get to know and is looking forward to hikes with them to show them the ropes of the area!
I haven’t figured out just yet where I’m putting their pool and ice flow!
They are kind of cute and I’ll have to see if I’m game to interact in Pudgy World!
Tomorrow brings church. There is to be only one service instead of the usual two which means it will be a packed house!

Aww the pudgy penguins look so cute and adorable I really loved them and am anticipating cot to be friends with them as well.
Oh, I believe he will be. I've got one though, that I will have to watch as it has dingly things on it's hat and Im sure he would view them as kitty toys!
