If you mean a replacement for etcher, I hear there's a Windows version of the linux dd command. If you mean a different OS, and this is your first try at linux, I would recommend Pop!OS. It's the easiest out-of-the-box experience I've found.

I was originally going to go with open suse but mint was highly recommended. Unfortunately etcher does not seem to like mint, unless something changed between them and now (which is highly likely). In either case I will keep trying until I can completely do away with windows. I will also look into pop os though and thank you for the suggestion. !LOVE !LOLZ and !PIZZA
