Los días jueves vienen con ese dulce aroma llamado “recuerdo”, vivencias pasadas o no tanto enmarcadas en memorables fotografías, al verlas retrocedemos a ese momento y sentimos que lo estamos viviendo una vez más.

Cumpleaños feliz querida Rocío.

Septiembre, mes del inicio de la primavera, y con la misma primavera fue la llegada de mi primer amor, mi hija Rocío, ella nació el día veintidós de septiembre a las 13:50 hrs de un día jueves, el inicio de la aventura de ser padres y reforzar la familia.

El mes pasado (septiembre) posterior a fiestas patrias (18/19) festejamos y el cumpleaños de nuestra princesa grande, vinieron sus tíos, tías y primos, estaban sus abuelos y nosotros como padres estábamos muy felices por ella, ya que lo estaba pasando muy bien, su pequeña hermana Julieta a cada dos por tres recordaba a todos que era el cumpleaños de su Rocío, y es que ella ama a su hermana y se sentía organizadora del festejo.

En la cocina con mi marido estábamos preparando las pizzas, ya que ella quería eso para su cumpleaños, mientras tanto en la mesa los invitados disfrutaban de frituritas, galletas, gaseosas y jugos. Al final llegamos con la pizzas a la mesa y se evaporaron, Rocío conversaba con sus primos de sus “juegos” mientras iban comiendo.

Luego de terminar de comer nos preparamos para cantar el cumpleaños feliz, apagamos las luces y encendí la velas, cantamos a todo pulmón y ella en el medio nos veía a todos con sus ojitos brillantes, al terminar de cantar lo hicimos de nuevo, y es que en casa tenemos una tradición algo peculiar, luego de cantar de forma tradicional lo hacemos en versión gato, perro, oveja y pato 😂.

Luego de al fin terminar de cantar ella abrió sus regalos, camperas, pantalones de gimnasia, zapatillas y chocolates, mi pequeña desde hace años dejó de pedir juguetes y su inclinación es la ropa, no porque yo se lo haya inculcado, sino que nació por decisión propia.

Este año mi bebé cumplió ocho añitos, la veo tan grande e independiente que añoro los días pasados donde la cargaba en mis brazos.

Happy Birthday dear Rocío.

September, month of the beginning of spring, and with the same spring was the arrival of my first love, my daughter Rocio, she was born on September 22 at 13:50 hrs on a Thursday, the beginning of the adventure of being parents and strengthen the family.

Last month (September) after the national holidays (18/19) we celebrated the birthday of our big princess, her uncles, aunts and cousins came, her grandparents were there and we as parents were very happy for her, since she was having a great time, her little sister Julieta every now and then reminded everyone that it was her Rocio's birthday, and she loves her sister and felt she was the organizer of the celebration.

In the kitchen with my husband we were preparing the pizzas, since she wanted that for her birthday, meanwhile at the table the guests were enjoying fritters, cookies, sodas and juices. At the end we arrived with the pizzas to the table and they evaporated, Rocío was talking with her cousins about their "games" while they were eating.

After we finished eating we got ready to sing happy birthday, we turned off the lights and I lit the candles, we sang at the top of our lungs and she was in the middle watching us all with her bright eyes, when we finished singing we did it again, and is that at home we have a somewhat peculiar tradition, after singing in a traditional way we do it in cat, dog, sheep and duck version 😂.

After finally finishing singing she opened her gifts, jackets, gym shorts, sneakers and chocolates, my little one for years stopped asking for toys and her inclination is clothes, not because I have instilled it in her, but she was born by her own decision.

This year my baby turned eight years old, I see her so big and independent that I miss the days when I used to hold her in my arms.
