Ever heard of this recipe?
It's an authentic Bangladeshi dish.
Especially during/after Eid (Muslim's religious festival) this dish is a must. It's not bizarre to us but maybe for many. It tastes nothing like meat. So if you are not familiar with it, I would say, give it a try.
The cooking process is similar to beef curry. People also love to eat grilled liver or deep-fried liver. You can follow This recipe for the full details of the ingredients and the process.
Let me share my step-by-step cooking process.
- Boil the liver slices for five minutes to get rid of the blood in them.
- Cook the spices all together for 15 minutes.
- Add the boiled liver slices.
- Add some potatoes chunks if you want. This is optional.
- Cook them together for another 15 minutes/until they turn soft.
- And it's done.
Doesn't it look like worth trying?
As I was saying, the taste is nothing like anything. I personally don't like the taste of liver. Oops, did I said something I should not? Or maybe not. Not necessarily every cook has to love what they eat. But should be able to serve the best so others can taste the best out of it. No?
So that's the recipe. I would love to know if you love liver curry if it's common in your area.
