Let's treat cholesterol in a delicious way.

Hello HIVE friends in this community. Here I am not saying that doctor's medicine is not good. Everyone has their own portion. Today I will make chayote smoothies which are believed to help treat cholesterol and high blood pressure. However, consuming chayote will only be food or drink if you don't consume it regularly to get real benefits and don't worry about the taste because chayote smothies don't have any taste, on the other hand, when you drink this juice or smothies, your stomach will feel it's colder and you can feel this straight away.



And the way I process this chayote into delicious smoothies without the burden of drinking it is by adding other fruit depending on your taste, for example I mix this chayote with apples. And to find out how I make this drink, let's look at the ingredients I need as follows.



The ingredients for making pumpkin and apple smoothies are:


1. ½ part of a chayote (because the size of my chayote is 250 grams so I will divide it into 2 parts, but if you have a small chayote, just use 2 chayote

2. 2 apples (I believe using green apples will make this drink recipe fresher because of the sour taste it gives, but because I only have red apples, this is the apple I am using now)

3. 250 ML water



The way I make these smoothies is:


1. The first step I took was to cut the chayote into two then I rubbed the part that I had cut into each part of the pumpkin to get the sap out, after that I washed it until it was clean and then I peeled the pumpkin.

2. After I peeled it, I cut it into small pieces, then put it in a blender

3. The next step is to peel the apple, which I have first soaked in salt water to remove the pesticide. And here I will use just the apple flesh without the skin, so I peel the apple first then I remove the seeds, then I cut it into small pieces and I also put it in the blender.

4. The next step is to pour water into it.

5. After that, I blended all the ingredients until smooth

6. My chayote and apple smoothies are ready and I can enjoy them immediately without storing them in the refrigerator first.



As I expected, these smoothies are very delicious, especially with the apple mixture in them. Apart from being healthy, it turns out that these smoothies taste really good and the bonus is that they can reduce the levels of bad cholesterol in our bodies.
