Beaded bracelets| Pulseras de cuentas

I attended a camp about 2 months ago and I was opportune to learn about bracelet making. I am still a novice but I made a few already and I would like to share them here.

Asistí a un campamento hace unos 2 meses y tuve la oportunidad de aprender a hacer pulseras. Todavía soy una novata pero ya he hecho unas cuantas y me gustaría compartirlas aquí.

To start we need one strands of hausa rubber like we call it here in Nigeria, it is basically an elastic and you can use clear elastic rubber as well, depends on your choice but I highly recommend the hausa rubber.

Para empezar necesitamos una hebra de caucho hausa como lo llamamos aquí en Nigeria, es básicamente un elástico y puedes usar caucho elástico transparente también, depende de tu elección pero recomiendo mucho el caucho hausa.

For this particular bead I have only learnt to make it with 2 varieties of beads, a tiger faced beads and a smaller type of clear bead.

Para este abalorio en particular sólo he aprendido a hacerlo con 2 variedades de abalorios, un abalorio con cara de tigre y un tipo más pequeño de abalorio transparente.

For this tutorial I would be making only one strand of bead and for the next time I'll be making 2 strands conjoined, I would accompany it with a video for easy understanding.

Para este tutorial haría una sola hebra de abalorios y para la próxima vez haré 2 hebras unidas, lo acompañaría de un video para facilitar la comprensión.
Let's get into it.

Measure out your wrist size and add a one inch allowance for tying the bead into a knot, string the beads into the elastic and tie it up into three knots, voila

Mide el tamaño de tu muñeca y añade una pulgada de margen para hacer un nudo con la cuenta, ensarta las cuentas en el elástico y haz tres nudos, voilà.

After tying it be sure to slip the knot into one of the beads to hide it and give it a neat finish. Cut off any extra elastic as well.

Después de atarlo, asegúrate de deslizar el nudo en una de las cuentas para ocultarlo y darle un acabado limpio. Corta también el elástico sobrante.
