A handicraft fair in Viet Tri, Vietnam

in DIYHub2 years ago

Hello dear Hivers. In Vietnam every year, there is Hung King's death anniversary on the 10th day of the third lunar month. Hung King is the ancestor of Vietnam. His temple in Phu Tho is the most sacred place in Vietnam. On this occasion many events are held including fairs. Yesterday I went to a handicraft fair held at Hung Vuong Square in Viet Tri, Phu Tho.

The fair has a lot of goods for sale. These items are very delicate made from precious wood, stones and metals. Prices range from affordable to very expensive.

In Vietnam, handicrafts are very popular. There are many craft villages across the country with many talented craftsmen. Their products are not only consumed domestically but also exported to foreign countries.

In the past, handicrafts were made entirely by hand, but today, with the support of modern technology and machines, the products are more and more beautiful and the output is very high.

People buy handicrafts not only because they are necessary items for their homes but also for many other purposes such as proving their class, decoration, an investment or feng shui.
