Hola mis estimados hivers, éxitos y bendiciones para ésta dinámica comunidad. Es mi primer post para #LovingHIVE, por eso me emociona explicarles paso a paso como diseñé en metal el logotipo de"HIVE",que por cierto fué algo interesante y con algo de creatividad para así lograr una buena escultura en arte metal, en éste diseño innovador lo pude realizar gracias a la colaboración de mi hija hivers @pomboadri, diseñadora gráfica .

Hello my dear hivers, success and blessings for this dynamic community. This is my first post for #LovingHIVE, so I am excited to explain step by step how I designed in metal the logo of "HIVE", which by the way was something interesting and with some creativity to achieve a good sculpture in metal art, in this innovative design I could do thanks to the collaboration of my daughter hivers @pomboadri, graphic designer.

Al comienzo no estaba muy seguro en fabricarlo en lámina de hierro o en otro material, y luego de visitar varios negocios ferreteros en busca de otra alternativa logré encontrar el material que me pareció el más indicado, una pletina de hierro, de 37 milímetros de ancho, con 3 milímetros de espesor, por seis metros de largo.

At first I was not very sure about making it out of sheet iron or another material, and after visiting several hardware stores in search of another alternative, I managed to find the material that seemed the most suitable, an iron plate, 37 millimeters wide. , 3 millimeters thick, by six meters long.

A continuación hice los cortes a dicha pletina con un ángulo de 22 grados de inclinación para así obtener las partes necesarias de las
caras del logo. Luego procedí a diseñar la base de la escultura con una lámina de hierro de 1,1 milímetros de espesor, donde antes de hacer los cortes hice el diseño en cartón para lograr un mejor trabajo en el trazado sobre la lámina y evitar perdida de material y tiempo.

Next I made the cuts to said plate with an angle of 22 degrees of inclination in order to obtain the necessary parts of the
logo faces. Then I proceeded to design the base of the sculpture with a 1.1 millimeter thick sheet of iron, where before making the cuts I made the design on cardboard to achieve a better job in tracing the sheet and avoid loss of material and time.

Ya teniendo las piezas procedí a unir las caras del logotipo con soldadura eléctrica ,no sin antes hacer una matriz o molde para obtener el ángulo adecuado y uniformidad en el diseño, luego con la ayuda de una dobladora improvisada por mi,logré darle forma a la base en forma exagonal, éste diseño con ésta forma fué realizado pensando en una galería de una colmena de abejas,la cual son exagonales. Luego de soldar la base y el logo procedí a unir las partes logrando armar el diseño, viendo con satisfacción el adelanto de esta obra plasmada en metal.

Once I had the pieces, I proceeded to join the faces of the logo with electric welding, but not before making a matrix or mold to obtain the appropriate angle and uniformity in the design, then with the help of an improvised bending machine, I managed to shape the logo. base in a hexagonal shape, this design with this shape was made thinking of a gallery of a bee hive, which are hexagonal. After welding the base and the logo, I proceeded to join the parts, managing to put together the design, seeing with satisfaction the progress of this work embodied in metal.

Luego empecé a corregir las impurezas de la soldadura con la ayuda de un esmeril , para darle un mejor acabado y así poder pintar la escultura sin detalles visibles para entonces dar comienzo con el rotulado o stickers con el logotipo de HIVE, para finalizar le coloque en la parte inferior de la superficie de la base una cubierta de goma para evitar que se resbale fácilmente.

Then I began to correct the impurities of the welding with the help of a grinder, to give it a better finish and thus be able to paint the sculpture without visible details and then begin with the labeling or stickers with the HIVE logo, to finish I placed it on The bottom of the base surface has a rubber cover to prevent it from slipping easily.

Para finalizar quiero decirle que me pareció muy interesante no solo por demostrar un poco de imaginación en la fabricación de ésta esescultura sino por tratarse de nada más y nada menos de tan significativo que es nuestro logo de HIVE, donde me siento orgulloso de ser uno más de esta hermosa comunidad. Bueno mis estimados hivers, me despido, será hasta una nueva oportunidad.

Finally I want to tell you that I found it very interesting not only for showing a little imagination in the manufacture of this sculpture but also because it is nothing more and nothing less than our HIVE logo, so significant, where I feel proud to be one more of this beautiful community.
