"For you to improve yourself you need to step out of your comfort zone." Writing is my weakness because I don't have confidence in letting people read it because of the fact that I'm not good in English and expressing myself, but when I entered hive it all began to change. Hello co-hivers it's me again jaycee 💙 and in this blog I'm gonna share to you my journey here in hive and how it helped me.

HOW DID I START BLOGGING

It all started when ma'am @callmesmile introduced the hive to us students, she introduced this blogging 2 times, first when I was in grade 11 and the next is 2 months ago. Everytime maam tells us what is hive I was always confused and amazed at the same time, but always have no plan in entering and trying on it, it's because I have no confidence in writing specially in English.

The second time ma'am @callmesmile introduced the hive，she tells us that there will be a hive orientation for us to understand more about hive and everyone is welcome to attend. When that Hive orientation is happening I did not attend because I really dont have any intention to enter, but every time I passed by the room they held at I keep turning and peeking, curious as to what's going on inside. And when ma'am tells me that I can come in I entered and listen to the speakers . As when I listened to what they said I learned some information about hive (I only attended when its almost done) and it makes me thrilled to join.

HOW HIVE HELPED ME

Hive helped me in many aspects, from my writing skills, English, confidence and many more.

Blogging helped me in enhancing my English writing skill as I've reviewed all of my blog I can see that there is improvement from picking a right word, punctuation, expression ect., it is still not good but it is much better than how I wrote before I joined hive.

Next up is gaining confidence. Before I am really not confident in sharing all of my writing when it is written in English because I am afraid to be tease by other people because of my grammar but here in hive even though there are many grammatical errors in my writing I did not see/read any about it but instead they all commented kind words about my blog. Thank you all🥺💙. Also, if before I'm struggling to write even in a one hundred word, now I can write 400+ words.

Blogging allows me express my feelings. I am really not a person who shares my true feeligs because I dont want others to be affected about it, it's kinda hard actually if you always hide all your feelings, the type when the surroundings are quiet you suddenly cry, but because of blogging I'm able to released some of it here like when I really miss my hometown and my nanay, I made a blog about it (HOME, MY CONFORT ZONE)and I did not expect that many people will read and can relate to what I felt. Truly hive is a great platform where you can express your feelings and find people who can understand and can relate to you.

Also sharing my creativity. This platform allows me to share all of my arts, crafts and DIY's where I can record all of the things I created and in addition to observe the improvement of my artistic skills, That's why most of my blog is all about art because that's what really I'm good at. Even though my art is not the best there are still many people appreciate and
amazed in it.

Connecting to people all around the world. Because of blogging I am able to share all of my ideas, talent and connect to other people. Even if they don't know me, they say nice things to my blog, give me advice on life and also good wishes. And it also allows me to discover other people's life, beautiful places, cultures and talents. Every blog's I have read there's lesson you can aquire and learn from it.

And lastly record all of my memories. Hive is like a journal where you can store, record and make history about your experience in life. I plan to write all of my arts and memorable experience in hive so that in the future, I have something I can look back, where I can read it and feel what I felt in my blog.

That is all the Hive helped me so far and I know there are still more things I can discover here. Hive is truly a great platform, not just you can share anything about your life, your talent and your feelings you can also connect and interact to other people around the world and gain information and knowledge in their blogs. It's a fun and enjoyable journey.
