Creating Extraordinary Memories: Hive Christmas Party Cebu 2023

Hello, everyone! This is annetimistic again. It's been a long time to write a blog here because I was busy in my master's. This time I'm glad that I would be able to share my experience in our Hive Party last December 26, 2023.

The hivers who attended the party were mostly teachers and students. Each of them brought their gifts. When we arrived on the resort, there were hivers who help to organize the place. The event was located in Northern Sogod, Cebu at Sacaan Tropical Breeze Resort which is next to Borbon, Cebu. We rented their function hall as our venue of our party.

Sir @ybanezkim26 had a speech for his words of welcome to hivers who attended the Christmas Party.

Games

We had various games that organized by @heyitsjian and @iamgagz09.

Blow the balls Game

The games are the "Blow the Balls, Trip to Herusalem, Statue Dance and "Yes or No" game. A hiver who could win can get a hive t-shirt as a prize. I felt jubilant because I won the "Yes or No" game and I got the Hive T-shirt.

It was fun joining the games because some were just enjoying and some are serious to get the prize. They execute effort on the game and have focus just to get the goal to become a winner. There were times that one of the games ended long because the hivers were very competitive to get the Hive T-shirt because only one hiver can win per game.

The food we eat

We order the buffet from the resort and some of my co-hivers shared their blessings as well. They bring some food to share to everyone.

Our lunch was lumpia, roasted chicken, chicken afritada, pork sweet and sour, vegetables(chopsuey) We also had deserts which are the gulaman and macaroons. We had orange fruit that donated by @missbebeth and @nanayko.

After our lunch, we had our exchange gifts. What makes it funny, we had no idea who was our "Manita" or "Manito" or the person whom will we give our gift because there was a code name of each hiver. We did a guess about their characteristics before revealing the name of the person. Some were laughing the others' code name because it was exactly what really they are.

The General Rules and Regulations

The guests must read and follow the rules of the pool because they don't have lifeguard. Everyone must swim at their own risk. If you have kids, always be cautious to avoid accident. Always be there at their side while swimming. In my part as a mother, I will swim together with my kids in order to protect them from accident.

Pool View

The pool has two parts: for kids and adults. The top part is for kids and lover part is for adults.

They have their slide as well where everyone can enjoy. Even kids can do the slide as long as there's an adult who will catch or assist them when they fall at the pool.

After the Party

Everyone got their souvenir hive tote bag after the party.

We took pictures together with them in front of the sea as our remembrance.

Thanks to all Ms. @indayclara for planning and organizing the whole event. It was such a memorable party because you let everyone expose their Hawaiian attire in a modelling way. The shy type hivers really had done with confident walk while showing their outfit. It was fun witnessing everyone's outfit with their extraordinary walk.

Also, thankful to other leaders in Hive, sir @ybanezkim26 and @intoy.bugoy for helping @indayclara to make the party successfully done.

Lastly, thankful to the hivers people who shared their food on the party and other hivers who help designing the tarpaulin with balloons. To my two friends and classmates as well @rhianmaker and @marie.creates who attended the party, I was glad to see them both because I was the one who invited them to join Hive. It was good to hear from them that Hive really helped them a lot.

By any chance, I hope there will be a Christmas party next with many new hivers who can witness our party that we had experienced. My dream place for the party will be outside Cebu so that everyone can explore other places in the Philippines.

Anyway, let me end a quote from mine.

"When there's a new opportunity that comes into our life, we must never decline because we will be missed great people who give us a door to succeed where we have a chance to achieve our goals beautifully."
