Este Domingo 22 de Septiembre del año en curso, se disputó la jornada 23 de la Segunda División del Fútbol Profesional Venezolano entre Atlético La Cruz y Anzoátegui FC, en el Estadio Alexander Comanche Bottini del Polideportivo de Maturín, a partir de las 3:30 de la tarde.
Los rojinegros llegaban a este importante compromiso tras vencer 3-1 en condición de visitante a Nueva Esparta FC, con un destacado desempeño del extremo Jean Mujica, quien anoto un doblete al 17’ y 90+5’.
Por su parte, los anzoatiguenses, igualaron a cero goles con su similar de Dynamo Puerto FC, en un juego entretenido y de muchas ocasiones de gol.

Siguió avanzando el juego y nada que llegaba la igualdad; hicieron cambios para tratar de poder encontrar la llave del gol, pero lamentablemente el elenco de casa se defendió bien y pudo neutralizar los atacantes del rival.
